Today, Coolblue opens its first store in Germany, in the Dusseldorf city center. With this opening, the e-commerce company further expands its infrastructure in Germany.

Today, Coolblue opens its first store in Germany. Customers can try out over 1,000 products on the 2,600 surface area and visit the store for advice, repairs, or to pick up their order. The first German Coolblue store will open at the heart of Dusseldorf in the Kö-Bogen II shopping center. This building has the greenest facade in Europe, which consists of no less than 30,000 plants.

Expansion in Germany

One year ago, Coolblue successfully took its own infrastructure across the German border. By now, Coolblue Germany employs over 100 Coolbluers. The e-commerce company has considerably expanded its own delivery network, installation services, and bike delivery services in North Rhine-Westphalia. With the opening of its first store, Coolblue continues to build on its infrastructure in Germany.

Pieter Zwart, Founder at Coolblue: “In the coming year, we’ll keep expanding in Germany. In North Rhine-Westphalia, we want to further expand our delivery services CoolblueDelivers and CoolblueBikes. On top of that, we want to open more stores, so we can make even more German customers very happy.”
